Andre Ethier is a young but successful artist who recently concluded solo exhibitions in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, Spain and Torino, Italy. His reception at Scope London and Scope Miami was un-paralleled.
Each new body of work reveals a more disturbing edge to the fantastical imagery Ethier has created. His unsettlingly darkened version of representational painting reveal his vulnerable creatures inhabiting the turbulent landscapes of painted nature, captivated, with no promises of salvation.
